how many deaths a year in The US are casued by Hospital, nursing home infections ?( some estimates are 200,000 a yr ) How times have you heard of a loved one that died after surgey due to a " Staff " infection or any other infection .
Is this preventable ? if it is can we calll it health care reform ?
It's true hospitals, or any place the sick gather, are dangerous places. Some of it is overuse of antibiotics which cause super resistant bacteria. It may always be a problem.
